Claiming the prize if you win Atlantic Tag
If you purchased your ticket through retail you need to first sign your ticket before your win can be validated. It protects your winnings from being claimed by anyone else.
Then verify your numbers, by consulting: The Atlantic Lottery (AL) website Winning Numbers page or check with most Atlantic newspapers or call the toll-free number: 1-800-561-3942 to know the winners. Also check the winning numbers with ALC cell phone app or at facebook.com/AtlanticLottery
Next take a photocopy of your winning ticket. If you have win prize of $250 you can redeem at lottery retail locations. Redeem tickets of up to $9,999 at any branch of the Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank) in Atlantic Canada, or in person at Atlantic Lottery’s Head Office in Moncton, NB. Download the AL Claim Form
If your ticket is a winner of $10,000 or more, contact Atlantic Lottery at 1-800-561-3942 to make arrangements. You will need to present your ticket and two pieces of ID (including one with photo). If you are a member of a group win, you will all be required to sign a group agreement form.
For prizes of $10,000 and more, the player receipt will say “Claim Centrally” which means you should present your ticket to an AL office.
If you purchased your ticket online: Cash prizes of up to $9,999 and free plays are deposited directly to your alc.ca account. Cash prizes of $10,000 and over (and merchandise) must be claimed at ALC office.
