What Are Pick Games to Play in Canada?

Pick Games are those games that are available only in the Prairie Provinces and the Territories in Canada.  These are daily numbers game where a Pick is a way of playing with either 1 or 2 guaranteed winning numbers meaning you choose less numbers in each game panel.

Having 1 or 2 guaranteed winning numbers gives you more chances to win, plus the chance to win across multiple prize divisions!

Picks Games at Ontario and Western Canada

PICK 2, PICK 3 & PICK 4 are the three PICK Games to play at Ontario (OLG) and Western (WCLC) Canada. You can play PICK 2, PICK 3, PICK 4 or all three – every day for your chance to win!

Also add EXTRA for a chance to win the game’s $250,000 top prize or the $100,000 second prize!

There are three play types in PICK games.

• STRAIGHT PLAY: In order to win, your numbers must match the numbers drawn in the exact order.
• STRAIGHT/BOX PLAY: Play both ways at the same time. You win if your numbers match the numbers drawn in any order, but you win more if they match in the exact order. (PICK 3 only)
• BOX PLAY: Your numbers must match the numbers drawn– they can be in any order. For PICK 4, the digits you select will determine the kind of Box on your ticket.

1. PICK 2

• Match the first digit to win $2

In PICK 2 select two numbers from 0-9 or get a quick pick. The ticket cost $2 per play and you win by matching just one number.

• Choose Box Play to match numbers in any order to win a prize

In PICK 3 select three numbers from 0-9 or get a quick pick. You can wager $1, $2, $5 or $10 per play and choose Straight, Box or Straight/Box play

In PICK 3, Box or Straight/Box play methods are not available if all three digits chosen are the same (e.g. 333).

How to play Pick Games

• You can play PICK games by QUICK PICK or Selection Slip
• You need to mark the PICK game(s) that you want to play. For each game you choose, select the required number of digits from 0 to 9. You can play either one or two boards.
• For PICK 3, choose your wager amount and play type. For PICK 4, choose your play type.
• For each game and board you play, mark whether you want to add the EXTRA. EXTRA is $1 per game per board.
• You can choose to play 1, 2, 5, 10 or 25 draws. The EXTRA number(s) is valid for the same draw date(s) as the host game listed at the top of your ticket.

Note that draws for all three PICK games are held every day. Also, tickets can be purchased until 9:30 pm CT, 8:30 pm MT and 7:30 pm PT daily.
